Vocational Progression.
In years 7, 8 & 9, the vocational training focuses on establishing a strong foundation of excellent technique, musicality and expression. In years 10 & 11, the training concentrates on increasing student's repertoire, technique and preparation for entry into major dance schools both here and abroad. However, young people develop in unforeseen and different ways and classical ballet is both mentally and physically demanding. An assessment is carried out during the Easter terms of years 8 & 9 to consider whether each student will benefit from further training with the school.
